The Pied Piper Sportive in Gloucester will take place on Sunday 15th July 2018 starting at Kingsholm, the home of Gloucester Rugby. Don’t miss your chance to ride with some of Gloucester’s rugby legends!
GBE Converge are delighted to be the main sponsor of this fantastic event and have supported this great charity for over 3 years, with a number of staff volunteering to help run events and raising money during this time.
Martyn Smith, GBE Converge Joint Managing Director, was at the official launch with Vice Patron and TV Sports Presenter Jill Douglas and Stephen Vaughan, CEO of Gloucester Rugby.
By riding in the Pied Piper Gloucester Sportive you will also be raising money for sick and disadvantaged children in Gloucestershire. The majority of the entry fee will go direct to The Pied Piper Appeal.
Founded in 1992, Pied Piper is the leading children’s charity in Gloucestershire. Their mission is to make a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the county. They do this by funding medical and practical equipment that enhances care and treatment for children in hospital and in the special schools in Gloucestershire.
They also send children with life limiting illnesses and their families on Wish Holidays, support the ever growing mental health care in Gloucestershire and fund £10,000 worth of nursing training for the pediatric nurses in the County to ensure that the children get the most up to date care possible.
