RAF Brize Norton, Carterton

GBE Converge were appointed to carry out the design, supply, installation and commissioning of all Fire, PA systems and disabled and W/C alarms to the new hangar for multiple A400M and C17 aircraft at Brize Norton. The hangar which covers 24,000sq m, is 28m tall and cost approximately £70million to build.

GBE Converge were appointed by NG Bailey, Main Contractor was BAM and Consulting Engineers were Ove Arup. GBE Converge commenced work in September 2015 and completed on site in March 2016.
