What do you enjoy most about your role at GBE Converge?
Going out to all of our sites and seeing them in real life. You get a greater perspective on the scale of the works if you can visit the building rather than looking at them from the 2D drawings.
What attracted you to working at GBE Converge?
Although it’s a work environment, it’s how relaxed all my colleagues are and the working environment and how we all club together when it’s really needed to get a project completed and over the line to meet a client’s needs and expectations.
Are there any key projects you are working on currently?
I am currently working on getting the company ISO 9001 & 14001 up to the 2015 standard, along with GDPR which comes into effect in May 2018.
As a work related side venture I am also working to progress my CPD as part of my AIOSH association and shall be attending various shows throughout the year to broaden my knowledge of H&S.
What is your proudest achievement at GBE Converge?
Passing my NEBOSH in Construction certificate with a Credit score, just shy of distinction by 19 points
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I am a member of Bowmen of the Deans Archery club and shoot a recurve bow. I also have a slight addiction to cats, currently owning 7 little monsters!
