Coronavirus Update Statement from GBE Converge Managing Director, Jason Buttle

Together, we are facing a really challenging situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. We wanted to get in touch and update you on how we’re approaching things at GBE Converge during this period.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with anyone who has been impacted by the virus, and that the health and safety of our clients, partners, employees and their families are our top priority.

As a business we have had to make some significant changes to how we operate, and we are grateful to all our clients and employees for the way in which they have adapted and responded to this unpredictable situation.

In response to UK Government guidelines the Senior Leadership Team of GBEC Converge have made the decision to temporarily close our UK & Dutch offices. Although we have taken this action, we maintain a skeleton staff to enable our field and site-based staff to be supported whilst they carry out essential works and services for our valued clients who are engaged in the front line, fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

All of our employees and engineers are fully updated on the current government requirements and are undertaking radical health and safety measures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained throughout every aspect of our daily work on any of our customer sites and premises where we are still operating.

Any members of staff and our engineers returning from any affected areas or those who have family members recently returned from affected regions, have automatically been asked to self-quarantine for fourteen days. This has been in place at GBE Converge for some weeks now.

Although many of our office staff are working remotely, the transition has been relatively smooth thanks to the technology and processes we have in place, allowing us to continue to provide you with excellent levels of service: alongside our colleagues working on frontline projects our 2 No. support desks are fully operational 24/7 and all of our support services remain in full, but disrupted operation.

We at GBE converge are fully committed to providing 100% of our services through this period.

All our staff are absolutely determined to make sure we get you through this unchartered territory as successfully as possible, and in the coming weeks we will be sharing any useful information relevant to you about how we are operating.

In the meantime, please do contact us if you need any advice or help and please keep healthy, safe and strong.

Best wishes,
Jason Buttle, Managing Director
