GBE Converge Commence Work at 3 Wellington Place in Leeds

Wellington Place is establishing itself as an outstanding new urban quarter and business location for some of Leeds’ leading corporate organisations. With modern, high-specification office space, the 22-acre scheme, when completed will comprise a vibrant mixed-use community with around 12,000 people living and working there.

The Mixed-use development will include offices, residential, retail and leisure. Designed by architect Sheppard Robson the 3 Wellington Place scheme spans a total surface area of 138,000 sq ft and hosts a basement car park, A3 units on the ground floor and 50 secure cycle racks.

GBE Converge were appointed by Wates Construction to design, supply, install and commission all Fire alarm and Detection systems, which will be supplied by Gent by Honeywell and the Emergency Voice Communications and WC Alarms, supplied by Baldwin Boxall.

GBE Converge have recently commenced work on site and are due to complete in December 2017.
